Scope and Contents note Postcards of objects from the British Museum are divided into four subseries. First subseries of postcards are black and white and arranged by set number. Each set consists of roughly a dozen postcards and has a specific subject. Many sets have similar themes and subjects. The second and third subseries, Coloured B Series and Coloured C Series, follow similar arrangements with the notable exceptions that they are in color and contain fewer postcards per set.
