Scope and Contents note
This series contains the records of John Paul Miller's personal and professional life outside of the studio. It includes correspondence, records of the Cleveland Institute of Art, published material, historical images, family history material, and travel scrapbooks. Unpublished documents are filed alphabetically by subject. These are followed by clippings and publications that are arranged chronologically. Images consist of photographic prints and negatives of exhibitions and activities at the Cleveland Institute of Art, travel, and family photos.
The series also includes three boxes of family history materials primarily for John Paul Miller's maternal side. It includes information on the Brooks and Hershberger families and a small amount of material for the Miller family. Portraits and snapshots of family members are included with the family history material.
