Artist Portrait Photographs
This collection is a small group of photographs of artists by various photographers. Some folders contain multiple images. The group was apparently a gift to the library from James Porter. All rights are retained by the photographers. The Ingalls Library keeps clipping files on many of the artists listed. This is indicated by a "see also library clipping file" note in the file name.
Cleveland Museum of Art Inaugural Exhibition posters
The collection consists of four posters submitted by students of the Cleveland School of Arts to the museum under the auspices of Ralph King. The winning poster by Robert Roessler was to be used at the museum opening although there is no evidence of this, and the poster in the museum archives is an incomplete work.
