Scope and Contents note

This subseries consists of computer generated lists of accepted artist name, address, object information, and purchaser information (if the object was purchased at the May Show). The list includes all objects entered by accepted artists, regardless of whether the object was accepted. Researchers should also check series 4.3, Black Book Artists, which contains the list of accepted artists from 1974-1993, though it does not include object information.

Scope and Contents note From the Sub-Series: Awards were given to artists in the form of certificates, medals and cash. Congratulatory letters to award winners are filed alphabetically by year along with lists of award winners. Sporadic samples of certificates may be found in the files. Information on the Horace E. Potter Memorial Award for Excellence in Craftsmanship, Ohio Arts Council, Treuhaft Foundation, and endowment funds and funds for purchasing works are also available in sporadic years, as well as the three major cash awards...
