This collection consists of artworks, sketchbooks, study materials, journals, and slides which document the creative process of John Jackson with ancillary materials showing his involvement in the Cleveland and Philadelphia art scenes. It contains some personal materials including correspondence, calendars, slides, and an oral history conducted posthumously with the artist's sisters and friend.

Mabel Hewit scrapbooks

Scope and Contents note This collection comprises of two bound scrapbooks. The scrapbooks contain newspaper clippings, exhibition catalogs, correspondence, and awards. The scrapbooks were compiled sometime after 1960 and each one spans roughly thirty years. Both are arranged in a rough chronological order. One is committed to the documentation of Mabel Hewit's interaction with the May Show and covers from 1936 to 1961.
