Slides from various offices depicting exhibitions, events, and views of the museum and museum construction. Included are a large number of exhibition installation slides from former museum designer, William Ward. Slides are stored in slide boxes in cool storage. Folder titles refer to the subject heading of a particular group of slides. Subject headings can include any number of slides.
Cleveland Museum of Art video collection
Videos produced by and for the museum to publicize exhibitions and for other purposes. There are two digital copies of each video, one for reference and one to serve as the master copy.
Exhibitions and Publications Department exhibition files
Includes files about exhibitions held at the Cleveland Museum of Art or another venue, canceled exhibitions, and proposed (or declined) exhibitions. They may also include gallery rotations, reinstallations, and recent acquisitions displays. Currently this collections is 52 cubic feet in 104 boxes.
William Ward records
The William Ward collection contains records of his work as museum designer and in the museum education department including correspondence, design project files, subject files, and records of the construction of the Breuer wing. The collection dates from 1946 through 1989.
