Arrangement note
Notebooks have been arranged as much as possible by topic as noted on the cover or spine of each book, although some notebooks have topics scratched off and new ones written in so there may be some out of place. The arrangement is primarily alphabetical. A bibliography of Hind's works was consulted during the arrangement.
General Physical Description note
This collection consists of small bound notebooks that include folded letters and notes tucked in the pages. Some notes are unbound and kept together with folded pieces of paper on which the topic of the notes is written. The bindings on many of the notebooks is damaged and all are very fragile. Some of the papers are very acidic and dry.
