This small collection consists of a selection of printing plates from the publications department which were used for various illustrations in Cleveland Museum of Art publications.

Samples of invitations, cards, brochures, letterhead, memorials, and other printed material produced by the print shop through the 1970s. Scope and Contents note Scrapbooks were maintained by several museum departments including Education, Publications, and Public Information. All publication scrapbooks have been retained and each item contained in the books are described fully. Only the first two years of newspaper scrapbooks were retained in their entirety as examples of the types of news items that were clipped. Scope and Contents note

The William Ward collection contains records of his work as museum designer and in the museum education department including correspondence, design project files, subject files, and records of the construction of the Breuer wing. The collection dates from 1946 through 1989.
