Scope and Contents
Eleanor Roosevelt commissioned a sculpture of Huckleberry Finn from Eckhardt. This file contains correspondence about creating the piece, progress photographs and clippings. There is also 1939 letter from Roosevelt expressing her gratitude for the sculpture alongside a photo of the life sized sculpture installed in her garden.
