Biographical / Historical

Frank Wilcox, born in Cleveland, was a printmaker, teacher, watercolorist, and writer. He attended the Cleveland School of Art and joined the faculty in 1913 where he worked for forty years. He was founder and president of the Cleveland Society of Artists and a member of the American Watercolor Society. Wilcox won 35 awards in the Cleveland Museum of Art's May Show and was awarded the Penton medal.
