Scope and Contents note

May Show sales records serve as the checklist for each exhibition and list the objects sold and price, arranged alphabetically by both artist and buyer. The sales records also may include interoffice memos, entry forms and rules, exhibition publicity, CMA Bulletin issue, newspaper clippings, and gallery views. The objects are identified on the gallery views that are part of the sales records series, and cover the years 1934-1993. The sales records are arranged chronologically.
